Fu Tei Au Tsuen was included in the FNNDP (Fanling North New Development Plan) 10 years ago, where ⅓ of the land needed to be reclaimed and demolished. Although most of the residents are not indigenous*, they came from different areas such as Dongguan, Chaozhou, and Hakka, a strong community was formed and various cultural traditions were preserved and still in use till today. Many historical heritages are hidden in this small village. In order to strive against the demolition in the new development plan, villagers hope to share and promote their historical sites with you as a way to preserve the village.
