This “treehouse” in the village was an accidental combination of a banyan tree and the ruins of 文明庙 originally built in 1924 by the Liu clan in Sheung Shui Wai. Banyan grew in the courtyard of the temple survived after the strong typhoon attacked in 2018 while two floors of the temple collapsed, remaining tree trunks and winding branches held in the air, which forms an amazing scene of a combination of nature and building.
